Henry Rollins, Best Coast and Imagine Dragons to star in new kids’ show ‘A History Of Radness’

The 'music-driven' sitcom will also be scored by The Smashing Pumpkins' James Iha

Henry Rollins will guest star in a new children’s TV show from Amazon, titled A History Of Radness.

A pilot for the half-hour sitcom is set to filmed, with the former Black Flag member cast as a character called Coach Carlucci.

As The Wrap reports, Imagine Dragons‘ Dan Reynolds and Best Coast‘s Bethany Cosentino will narrate. The Smashing Pumpkins’ James Iha will provide an original score for the show, which will also include new music from Hutch Harris of The Thermals.

The show has been described as “music-driven” with its story following “siblings Jack and Tessie from their less-than-cool middle school beginnings at Pleasant Meadows Middle School to the start of their music careers as they put together a band of like-minded musicians, considered outsiders by fellow classmates.”
