NO ‘…REMEDY’ FOR HINDA

UK soul singer HINDA HICKS has been dropped by her label UNIVERSAL/ISLAND – just the latest victim in the current cull of under-selling Brit urban artists.

Hinda, who is due to perform at this weekend?s Southport Weekender, scratched at the bottom of the charts with her comeback single, ?My Remedy? last month, all of which spelt bad luck for the release of her second album ?Everything To Me? which will now not be released.

Hinda?s fate comes on the back of news that Shola Ama, Glamma Kid, Cleopatra and >Mark Morrison have all been dumped by their respective labels.
