Holy Fuck help ‘soothe’ sodden Reading Festival crowd

Toronto band provide shelter for the masses with frenetic set

Holy Fuck used their Dance Stage slot at Reading Festival to help “soothe” crowds affected by the rainy weather today (August 29).

The Toronto band’s fans filled the tent for their seven-song set, which saw them showcase tracks from their latest album ‘Latin’.

“Come on in from the rain,” keyboardist Brian Borcherdt said to the audience as the band took to the stage. “Let the sweet sounds of Holy Fuck soothe you while it’s raining!”

Later on in the band’s set, Borcherdt noticed that the downpour outside had stopped.

“Hey, it’s not raining, right?” he asked the crowd. “And you’re still with us? Thanks a lot, that’s awesome!”
