The 'new Radiohead' go on a jaunt around the release of their eagerly awaited second single...

HOPE OF THE STATES have announced to NME details of their new single and biggest headline tour yet.

The group will release ‘Enemies / Friends’ on September 22. The track is the follow-up to the Chichester outfit’s debut ‘Black Dollar Bills’, which is now fetching up to £50 on eBay. The single will be backed by ‘101st Lament’, ‘Why’d I Let My Heart Come Last?’ and a demo of ‘Static In The Cities’ across the formats.

Following a support slot with Grandaddy in August the band, who are being dubbed the new Radiohead, will play their own shows at:

Dublin Whelans (October 3)

Manchester University (4)

Glasgow King Tut’s (5)

Leeds Cockpit (7)

Oxford Zodiac (8)

Bristol Fleece & Firkin (9)

London ULU (10)
