Howling Bells have announced a run of UK tour dates set to take place in May and June.
The dates come in support of the band’s new album, ‘Heartstrings’, which is set for release on June 2. Ahead of the full tour, Howling Bells will play London’s Oslo on April 7 and release the single ‘Slowburn’ on the same day.
The band’s fourth album was recorded at Assault and Battery Studios in London with producers Catherine J Marks and Alan Moulder over the course of 11 days. Frontwoman Juanita Stein says of the recording process: “Having a deadline means you’re forced to make crucial artistic decisions in a very short time. You don’t have the luxury of overthinking. I feel this process shaped the album. As a result, you become incredibly connected to the musical spirit of the band. We loved every second of it.”
