Hudson Mohawke threatened to leak unreleased Kanye and Drake tracks last night

Producer also claimed he had not been paid for the tracks

Hudson Mohawke briefly threatened to leak a ZIP file of unreleased Kanye West and Drake tracks last night because he claims he has not been paid for them.

“Literally about to release zip of kanye and drake songs that I got [0 emoji] for,” he posted on Twitter before swiftly deleting the tweet, which was screen-grabbed by Pitchfork.

The Scottish producer – real name Ross Birchard – then suggested the tweet was a “wind up”, posting: “Love a little wind up for u cuntos, keeps u on your toes heh Til the day someone actually does thief my laptop n get 3 albums worth of gold.”

Hudson Mohawke is credited as a co-producer on five tracks from Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ album. He also worked with West on his ‘Yeezus’ LP and co-produced the track ‘Connect’ from Drake’s 2013 album ‘Nothing Was The Same’.
