Producer also claimed he had not been paid for the tracks
“Literally about to release zip of kanye and drake songs that I got [0 emoji] for,” he posted on Twitter before swiftly deleting the tweet, which was screen-grabbed by Pitchfork.
The Scottish producer – real name Ross Birchard – then suggested the tweet was a “wind up”, posting: “Love a little wind up for u cuntos, keeps u on your toes heh Til the day someone actually does thief my laptop n get 3 albums worth of gold.”
When a follower accused him of lacking the “guts” to leak the tracks, he replied: “No I don’t have the 10 milly [dollars emoji] to deal w the consequences mainly heh.”
The producer, who is signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label, said in another tweet: “I love yous too much to put myself into a huge legal battle for no reason n prevent me releasing my own music.”
Hudson Mohawke is credited as a co-producer on five tracks from Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ album. He also worked with West on his ‘Yeezus’ LP and co-produced the track ‘Connect’ from Drake’s 2013 album ‘Nothing Was The Same’.
