Rising British rock act HUNDRED REASONS narrowly avoided death yesterday (December 13) when a wheel came off their tourvan, sending them careering across the M1.
The band were travelling from Manchester to a show in London when the accident happened. They were in the right-hand lane of the motorway at the time, and it took several moments before the driver brought the van under control. He managed to avoid other traffic and stop along the hard shoulder. The band were stuck for several hours before help arrived.
It is the second time on their current tour that Hundred Reasons have walked away unscathed after their van developed serious problems. An axle snapped shortly after they arrived in Tunbridge Wells for a show.
The band are set to hit the UK Top 40 this week with new single ‘Epthree’.
