I Killed The Prom Queen have announced their return from a three-year hiatus.
The Australian metalcore band went on an indefinite break in 2008, with the band members pursuing separate projects.
Now, writing on their official Facebook page, Facebook.com/iktpq, they explained that the reunion “isn’t a one off, it’s the future”.
Neither of their former vocalists Michael Crafter nor Lee Stacy are part of the reformation. Instead, vocal duties will be handled by former Red Shore singer Jamie Hope.
The band will be touring Australia in May and are likely to announce more tour dates soon.
I Killed The Prom Queen released five albums during their initial eight-year career, the last of which was 2008’s ‘Sleepless Nights And City Lights’. Guitarist Jonah Weinhofen enjoyed the most high-profile role of the band members during the hiatus, joining Bring Me The Horizon.
