The ex-Stone Roses singer even supplies massive bongs for the bash in a Regent's Park marquee...
IAN BROWN gave the public the first chance to her his new album at a garden party in LONDON’s REGENT’S PARK last night (August 7).
Brown releases ‘Music Of The Spheres’ on September 17 via Polydor.
The ex-Stone Rose has been working on his third solo record for much of this year. Last night, approximately 100 guests, including NME.COM, were invited to a specially constructed marquee in Regent’s Park to be the first to hear the record.
In addition to the album playback, those present were offered a smoke from a giant, 4ft bong. However, the smoke on offer was not marijuana, instead guests were surprised to inhale a sweet, fruit flavoured substance.
One fan who attended the playback told NME.COM: “The vibe was really relaxed all evening and it was a lovely way to hear the album for the first time. It’s just a shame the bongs weren’t real – that would have been a nice touch!”
Ian Brown releases a new single, ‘FEAR’, on September 3. Brown has directed the video himself, and sources close to the project have revealed the video will feature the singer driving through London’s Soho on a classic scooter, imported from the US especially for the shoot.
