King Monkey's first foray into the world of remixing is a bash at the Welsh rockers' 'Let Robeson Sing'...

IAN BROWN has ventured in to remixing, and has reworked the forthcoming MANIC STREET PREACHERS single ‘LET ROBESON SING’.

Sources close to Brown have told NME.COM that the star has been searching for the right song to remix for a number of months, and the lyrical content of ‘Let Robeson Sing’, based on the political activist Paul Robeson, appealed to the ex-Stone Rose.

Brown has recruited longtime collaborators guitarist Aziz Ibrahim and percussionist Inder Goldfinger to work on the track, while Brown himself is set to provide backing vocals.

Brown has completed work on his new album, ‘Music Of The Spheres’, which will be released in the UK on September 10.
