BALLS N’ ROSES

Singer Ian Brown and bassist Mani will separately play Dublin's annual UCD Freshers' Ball...

MANI and Ian Brown will be reunited once again in DUBLIN when the duo both feature on the bill for the annual UCD FRESHERS’ BALL at the 6,000-capacity POINT venue on Thursday, October 12.

Brown will headline the Main Stage with his live band, while Mani tops an all-star bill of DJs in the Mezzanine Area. All eyes will be on the two former Stones Roses, despite the fact that they’ve reportedly long since settled their differences. The duo were last seen together in Ireland in high spirits at the Homelands Festival last March when both Brown and Primal Scream were on the bill.

Joining Brown on the Main Stage will be Agnelli & Nelson, the Global Funk Orchestra and Irish dance act the Disconauts. Mani will be accompanied in the Mezzanine Area by celebrity DJs Richard Colburn (Belle & Sebastian) and Richard Fearless (Death In Vegas). On the same night, Mani and Colburn will also take time out to play DJ sets at the popular Screamadelica club night at the Temple Bar Music Centre, where the Primal Scream bassist is a regular visitor.
