Ian Brown was jailed today (Friday October 23) for four months for threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, after an argument with an air stewardess on a flight earlier this year.
He was sentenced at Manchester Magistrate’s court this afternoon.
The incident was on a British Airways flight from Paris to Manchester on February 13. Brown threatened to chop an air stewardesses’ hands off after she asked him if he wanted duty-free goods. An argument ensued, and the captain was called out to deal with the singer. He too was threatened by Brown, who then tried to force his way into the cockpit while the plane was coming in to land.
