Idles, The 1975, Bring Me The Horizon lead Brit Awards gigs at tiny venues

Club shows also starring You Me At Six, AJ Tracey and Mabel in February are in aid of War Child

Idles, The 1975 and Bring Me The Horizon are among a dozen artists playing tiny venues in February in aid of War Child.

The gigs are in association with the Brit Awards and O2 under the banner BRITS Week With War Child Together With O2. They run at small club venues across London from February 11-22.

The event sees Idles play the 350-capacity 100 Club on February 11, with The 1975 at the 600-capacity Garage on February 18. Bring Me The Horizon play the 500-capacity Dome on February 19.

Tickets are on sale via a raffle at the BRITS Week War Child website with entry costing £5. Fans can enter to buy for as many gigs as many times as they like. The closing date is 11.59pm on February 4. A limited number of tickets go on sale on Friday (January 18) from the site at 9am.

Other artists headlining the shows include AJ Tracey, Mabel, You Me At Six, Frank Turner Jake Bugg, Nick Mulvey, Enter Shikari, Tom Odell, Jess Glynne, DJ Semtex and Anne-Marie. In addition to the shows, Squeeze singer Chris Difford will host a songwriting masterclass at the BRIT School.

Last year’s BRITS Week gigs raised £650,000 for War Child.
