Idlewild are to release a new single to coincide with their NME AWARDS
‘A Modern Way Of Letting Go’ is the fourth single to be taken from the band’s third full-length LP ‘The Remote Part’, which has now gone Gold in the UK. The 7″ and CD are backed by live versions of ‘A Modern Way Of Letting Go’, while the CD also features a live version of ‘In Remote Part’. The DVD release contains the video for the single, plus behind the scenes footage of the shooting of the ‘American English’ video plus a version of ‘I Am What I Am Not’ from the Radio 1 Evening Session.

The band, featuring new members Allan Stewart and Gavin Fox, also have a series of gigs lined up in Australia and America in February and March. They are also hotly tipped to play the Glastonbury festival, which runs from June27-29.
