Iggy Azalea responds to Snoop Dogg insults with Halloween ‘White Chicks’ costume

Pair recently exchanged insults via social media

Iggy Azalea has poked fun at her recent social media spat with Snoop Dogg by dressing as a character from the Wayans Brothers’ 2004 comedy White Chicks.

The pair exchanged heated words via Twitter and Instagram last month, with Snoop comparing Azalea’s appearance to that of Marlon Wayans from the film that follows two black male FBI agents who go undercover disguised as white women. The Australian rapper took to Instagram yesterday (November 1) to give followers a glimpse of the outfit, posting a number of photographs, as well as a video of her and a friend (dressed as the other ‘white chick’) dancing to Vanessa Carlton’s ‘A Thousand Miles’.

“Bye haterzzzzz,” posted Azalea with the video. The 24-year-old also posed at a party alongside recent collaborator Jennifer Lopez, who was decked out in devil outfit.

The squabble started when Snoop uploaded an image of a white man sporting cornrows with the caption reading: “Iggy Azalea No Make-Up”. According to reports, Azalea took to Twitter to post a series of now-deleted tweets in response.

“Why would you post such a mean pic to insta when you send your body guards to ask me for pictures every time we are at shows,” Azalea allegedly tweeted, later adding: “Every time I’ve ever spoken to you you’ve always been nice as hell, I’m disappointed you’d be such an ass for no reason.”

After further back-and-forths, Snoop eventually apologised via an Instagram video, revealing he’d had a conversation with Azalea’s one-time mentor T.I.: “Boys and girls, I just got off the phone with my boy Tip, the king of Atlanta, and it’s officially over. No more bad talk, I apologise. I apologise. I’m sorry, I won’t do it again.”
