Illinois join The Hold Steady on tour

Pennsylvania quartet plot a busy spring

Hotly-tipped newcomers Illinois have announced that they will join The Hold Steady for several North American tour dates this spring.

Before joining up with the New York quintet on May 30, Illinois will play a few dates, including Club NME Los Angeles with Fred Perry Subculture on April 25.

They’ll then join The Kooks on their sold-out tour of North America beginning on April 30, as previously reported.


After making the rounds with The Kooks, Illinois will join The Hold Steady on May 30 in San Francisco. The bands will hit several cities throughout the US including Los Angeles and Houston before winding things down in Asheville, North Carolina on June 14.
