Listen as Florence Welch, Kool Keith join joint Interpol/Wu Tang Clan album

Banks And Steelz also features RZA’s Wu bandmates

Florence Welch and Kool Keith are among the guests on the joint album by Interpol singer Paul Banks and Wu Tang Clan rapper RZA.

Released under the name Banks And Steelz, their album ‘Anything But Words’ will also feature RZA’s bandmates Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Masta Killa.

New song ‘Giant’ has been unveiled, which was produced by Florence And The Machine producers Kid Harpoon and John Hill. ‘Giant’ is the second song previewed from the album, following Ghostface Killah collaboration ‘Love And War’.

‘Anything But Words’ began in 2013 when RZA’s manager asked who he’d like to collaborate with. RZA told Rolling Stone: ““When I met Paul, I recognized the New York energy he has as a music artist. We got to know each other playing chess and vibing out in the studio. Our talents connected in a unique way and we started writing songs. The outcome was something distinctively different from my previous work, yet with another layer of cool.”

The duo go on a US tour starting on July 21, though there are no UK or European dates yet to be announced.
