Interpol wrap up UK tour watched by Arctic Monkeys

Band finish play third night at O2 Academy Brixton

Interpol wrapped up their 2010 European tour by completing a three-night London residency last night (December 8) in front of a crowd that included Arctic Monkeys.

The band rounded off their final night at the O2 Academy Brixton this week by playing a set that mixed songs from their recent self-titled album with those from across their entire career.

Joined by bassist Dave Pajo and keyboard player Brandon Curtis – frontman with Secret Machines – on their first full UK tour, frontman Paul Banks paid tribute to the band’s UK fans who had supported their run at the iconic London venue.
