Interpol make UK live return with new line-up

New Yorkers showcase new album at intimate show

Interpol made their live return last night (September 15), playing their first UK show without former bass player Carlos Dengler.

The band, who are expected to chart highly this weekend following the release of their fourth album ‘Interpol’ on Monday (September 13), played a Fly Presents… show at London‘s Heaven – their first show in the capital since they played Alexandra Palace in 2007 and their first in the UK since headlining the Latitude Festival in 2008.

Opening with new track ‘Success’, Interpol went on to give live UK debuts to a selection from the new album, including ‘Lights’ and ‘Barricade’. However, they also played a series of fan favourites in front of the sell-out crowd, which included members of The Maccabees, White Lies and Everything Everything.
