Interpol announce rescheduled North American tour dates

New York group add a series of shows in July and August

Interpol have announced details of their rescheduled tour of North America.

The band recently cancelled the majority of their US tour after U2, who the band were set to support, pulled their own run of gigs.

Kicking off last night (June 21) in Rochester, New York, the group have added extra dates in July and August, climaxing with a show in Miami, Florida on August 21.

As previously reported, the band will release the self-titled follow-up to 2007’s ‘Our Love To Admire’ on September 14.

Meanwhile, the New York band have released an HD video for their previously released track ‘Lights’. Directed by Charlie White, it can be downloaded for free from their official website
