Iron Maiden to offer ‘best of’ as free download

Veteran metal band embrace the modern age

Iron Maiden are to release their new 80s best of, ‘Somewhere Back In Time’, as a free high-quality download from their website.

However, the 320 kbps WMA file can only be played three times before it expires, when listeners will be able to purchase the album as a DRM-free download.

‘Somewhere Back In Time’ compiles moments from the band’s seven albums and one live album released in the 80s, and includes songs such as ‘The Number Of The Beast’/B] and ‘Run To The Hills’.
