Iron Maiden add extra UK tour date

The band treat fans to another show

Iron Maiden have added an extra date to their upcoming UK tour.

The band will now play a second night at London’s Earls Court on December 23.

The additional show in the capital will be the last date on the European leg of the metal legends’ tour before they head out in the New Year for dates around the world.

Iron Maiden will be hitting the road in support of their next studio album. As-yet-untitled, the LP is currently being recorded and will be released prior to the live shows.

“The recording is going brilliantly so far and we’re all very excited about the new album and how it’s sounding,” bassist Steve Harris said of the album. “The news that the tour is selling out all over the place so many months in advance is just great and playing two nights at Earls Court right before Christmas means it will be a great party for everyone!”

Support for the UK dates comes from Trivium.

Iron Maiden will play:

Cardiff NIA (December 11)
