Chris Brown has seemingly launched a new line of t-shirts that mock a woman who has accused the singer of sexual assault.
The news comes after a woman (who is only identified as “Miss K”) claimed last week that she was raped by Brown and two other men inside a Paris hotel room earlier in January. Brown, who was arrested on Tuesday (January 22) and released without charge, denies the allegation and has since filed a defamation suit.
It is not clear at the time of writing whether the sale of the t-shirts advertised by Brown’s clothing line, Black Pyramid, via its website is legitimate or a hoax. NME has contacted the company for comment.
One of the designs, called “The Paris Edition” features an image of the Mona Lisa with the phrase “THIS B*TCH LYIN'”stamped over it. Another shirt has the phrase printed in large lettering on the front. They are priced at $38 each.
The investigation into Miss K’s accusation is ongoing. According to the complaint, which was obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Brown’s lawyer wants the defendant to face criminal prosecution for “slanderous accusation”.
If the defendant is found guilty, she could spend up to a year in prison.
