The event’s line-up has not yet been announced, but the star’s manager  Ibrahim ‘Ib’ Hamad has told the Washington Post that there will be “a variety of different acts that we love or excite us”.

Pre-sale tickets are available here.

The news comes following the release of J Cole’s fifth album ‘KOD’ last week (April 20).

In a four-star reviewNME wrote: “‘KOD’ tackles drugs, demons and addiction for the majority of its 12 tracks, with Cole seemingly keen to caution his fans, rap peers and society at large about this delicate and pertinent set of topics.”

NME‘s Sam Moore added that it “reiterates his importance to the rap game in 2018”.

Cole has also recently responded to claims that he is a “boring” rapper.

In an interview with Vulture, Cole discussed how he was told in the past that he was “too boring” to appear on magazine covers. “In 2012, it was infuriating,” he said. “It was mad hurtful, it felt more like I was a victim.”

The musician explained how he moved beyond those feelings, saying: “Once I took control of my own shit, stopped giving power to other people for my happiness and success, it became like, ‘Oh word, I’ll show you how boring I am.’ And it became another person to prove wrong.”
