Jack Penate plans to hit the studio in January to record his second album.
Speaking to BBC 6Music, Penate revealed that he wanted to make his second album completely different to his recent debut, ‘Matinée’.
“I’m excited to change perceptions,” he said. “The best people are the ones who can change perception non-stop.
“I feel like I have got a bit of unearthing to do, pulling up some to roots and starting again. Let’s see if I have go the talent. I just don’t wanna bore people.”
He added: “I don’t want people to compare any song [on the new album] to any song on the first record. That’s my only fear. I would happily make a record that completely flopped, but showed different sides to me than one that was on a not-as-good-first-record.”
