Jack White discusses ‘grotesque’ onstage injury during ‘Ellen’ interview – watch

The rocker also performed 'Alone In My Home' and 'Would You Fight For My Love' on the show

Jack White discussed a recent onstage injury during an interview with Ellen Degeneres on her chatshow Ellen.

White made an appearance on yesterday’s programme (October 9), also performing his tracks ‘Alone In My Home’ and ‘Would You Fight For My Love’.

Click above to watch the interview, during which he talks about the ankle injury he sustained earlier this year in California. “It’s grotesque isn’t it!” he said when an image of his bruised foot was shown to the audience, before revealing that he saw baseball team the Oakland A’s physiotherapist who told him he should cancel his tour. It was recently announced that White’s headline set at US festival Bonnaroo will be released as a live DVD and triple-vinyl LP.

Jack White will play three UK arena shows in November. The former White Stripes frontman will play Leeds First Direct Arena on November 17, Glasgow SSE Hydro on November 18 and London O2 Arena on November 19.
