Jack White has covered Jay-Z‘s ’99 Problems’ live onstage.

During his Saturday (July 19) night set at Louisville’s Forecastle Festival, White mashed up the 2003 hip-hop hit with The White Stripes’ ‘Icky Thump’. Click above to watch fan-shot footage of the performance, scrolling to the 2:55 minute mark of the video.

Jack White recently covered another rap song, playing Kanye West’s ‘Black Skinhead’ at a show in Dublin. White, who previously revealed that West had approached him with a view to working together on 2013 album ‘Yeezus’, performed the song entirely as an instrumental at the start of the show. White also performed a cover of Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’ at Glastonbury last month.

Jack White embarks on a three-date tour of the UK this November playing at:

Leeds First Direct Arena (November 17)
Glasgow SSE Hydro Arena (18)
London O2 Arena (19)
