Jack White announces first UK shows in four years

The musician will return to promote his new solo album 'Boarding House Reach'

Jack White has announced his first UK shows in four years.

The Third Man Records boss previously announced his new solo album ‘Boarding House Reach’ will be released on March 23 via his own label and XL Recordings.

Now, White has confirmed he will return to the UK for a pair of shows this summer. He will headline London’s Eventim Apollo on June 27 and 28. Tickets for the gigs will go on sale at 10am GMT on January 26.

Third Man Records Vault members will be able to access the pre-sale from 10am on January 22. Fans will also be able to get tickets in the pre-sale by registering for the Ticketmaster Verified Fan scheme. Registration is open now and closes at 11:59pm ET on January 19.

White recently released the first single from the album in the form of ‘Connected By Love’, as well as B-side track ‘Respect Commander’.

His third solo LP was recorded in New York City, Los Angeles and Nashville. It’s the first time White has recorded an album in NYC or LA, and features a brand new group of musicians.

A press release says the record sees White “expanding his musical palate with perhaps his most ambitious work thus far, a collection of songs that are simultaneously timeless and modern”.
