Jake Bugg to release live DVD of Royal Albert Hall show

The concert film will feature duets with Johnny Marr

Jake Bugg is set to release a live DVD of his Royal Albert Hall show.

Titled ‘Live at The Royal Albert Hall’, the release was filmed in February of this year and is scheduled for a December 15 release. The Charlie Lightening-directed concert film was recorded at Bugg’s sold out London show last February, as he performed a set that comprised mainly of songs from his two albums, ‘Jake Bugg’ and ‘Shangri-La’.

The film also features former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr (pictured with Bugg, right) joining Bugg onstage for a duet of ‘Kingpin’ and ‘Slumville Sunrise’ and an exclusive interview with Bugg himself.


The DVD also include footage of his home-coming show at Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena. ‘Jake Bugg – Live at The Royal Albert Hall’ is available for pre-order now and you can watch the trailer below.
