Jake Bugg tops Official Record Store Chart

'Shangri-La' fends off competition from Robbie Williams' 'Swings Both Ways'

Jake Bugg‘s ‘Shangri-La’ tops this week’s Official Record Store Chart.

The album beat off competition from Arctic Monkeys and Robbie Williams to land the top spot. The Official Record Store Chart reflects sales in the UK’s independent record shops. It was launched as part of last year’s Record Store Day, the annual celebration of independent record shops.

Elsewhere in the Top 10 Eminem’s ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2′ is up one place to four while former Number One, The Beatles’ ‘On Air – Live At The BBC Vol 2’ is down four to five. Elsewhere, albums from Arcade Fire, James Arthur and London Grammar stay strong in the Top 10 alongside albums by Elvis Presley and Celine Dion.
