Jake Bugg announces first UK tour dates for 2014

Singer-songwriter will play four dates in February

Jake Bugg has announced details of his first live dates in 2014.

The Nottingham born singer-songwriter, who earlier today revealed the Shane Meadows directed video for his new single ‘Slumville Sunrise’, will play four dates in February – including a night at London’s Royal Albert Hall on February 21. Dates in Manchester, Edinburgh and Newcastle have also been announced.

Bugg is set to release his second album, ‘Shangri La’, on November 18. The follow-up to last year’s self-titled debut is named after Rick Rubin’s Malibu studio, where the 19-year-old singer-songwriter recorded the album. Rubin produced the album, and it features Jason Lader on bass, Matt Sweeney on guitar and Pete Thomas [The Attractions] on drums.

Jake Bugg is currently on a sold-out tour of the UK and Ireland and will play the Brighton Centre tomorrow night (October 22). The 20-date run wraps up at Manchester’s O2 Apollo on November 13. Scroll down to see all of Jake Bugg’s UK tour dates now.
