James Blake has returned with comeback single ‘If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead’, the first track to be released from the producer since 2016.

The track was exclusively premiered during Blake’s BBC Radio 1 residency last night, and it’s been accompanied by a suitably futuristic video too. Check it out below.

Although it’s the first original material from Blake since 2016’s The Colour In Anything, he recently teamed up with Jay Rock for ‘King’s Dead’, which is taken from the forthcoming Black Panther soundtrack.

He also recently shared a cover of cover of Don McLean‘s tribute to Vincent Van Gogh, ‘Vincent’.

Next month, he’ll also return to the UK to play a one-off show at London’s Roundhouse on February 5, with the show coming ahead of his support slot on Kendrick Lamar’s UK arena tour.
