James Brown has been added to the bill for the forthcoming BBC Electric Proms.
The self-styled Godfather of Soul has been confirmed for a unique set with a number of special guest artists in London next month.
The legendary singer will be performing a show inspired by his famed routines in hotel lobbies, reports BBC News.
He joins a host of other artists for the five day event including Jamie T, Guillemots, Damon Albarn‘s new band The Good, The Bad And The Queen and The Who, who will be performing their mini-rock opera ‘Wire And Glass’ in full.
The event takes place at the revamped Roundhouse venue in Camden from October 25-29.
The BBC Electric Proms will be extensively broadcast on BBC television, radio and online.
