The singer-songwriter was due to play Paris and Brussels tonight and tomorrow
Jamie T has postponed further European dates due to ‘continued illness’.
The singer-songwriter recently had to pull four shows in mainland Europe because of illness and will no longer be playing his scheduled shows in Paris tonight (November 27) and Brussels tomorrow (November 28). “Due to continued illness Jamie must reluctantly postpone the 2 remaining shows in Paris and Brussels this week,” said a statement. “Jamie would like to apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. All tickets will remain valid and details of the 6 re-scheduled European shows will follow shortly.”
The singer-songwriter recently wrapped up his biggest ever headline tour of the UK, including two nights at London’s Alexandra Palace. Last week a post on his official Facebook page revealed that planned shows in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Amsterdam would no longer take place following medical advice.
Jamie T released his third album, ‘Carry On The Grudge’, this autumn. It followed his 2009 release ‘Kings & Queens’ and his 2007 debut ‘Panic Prevention’. He played his first headline gigs in four years in July of this year and also appeared at Reading Festival for a surprise set. It was recently announced that he will play Reading and Leeds Festivals 2015.
