Jamie T has released an album of B-sides after a friend accidentally leaked the songs to his students.
Announcing the news on Twitter, the London artist explained that his “good old mate Joe” had called him to tell him about a computer programme that allowed you to share your entire music collection with someone else.
“After a moment of silence, the reality hit him, it meant at least 15 of my demos had accidentally been dropped in one day.” See the full tweet below.

The collection of B-Sides spans songs that Jamie T has written in his childhood bedroom to Corktown, Detroit, from limited edition songs to those that have appeared for free on the internet, from the years 2006-2017. You can listen to the collection below.
As well as releasing this album of B-sides, the artist promised that “new music is on its way… when it’s ready.” His last album was 2016’s ‘Trick’ but he has recently contributed to Miles Kane‘s latest LP ‘Coup De Grace’.
Speaking of working with Jamie T, Kane said, “We wrote a lot of tunes. Definitely he helped me lyrically. I tend to fall in the trap of using less words and spacing out the sentences – trying to be coronary, I guess.”
‘Loaded’ was also heavily influenced by Jamie T, according to Kane. “Doing that more rhythmical delivery was something we experimented with…that kinda gave it a new thing for me. I loved it. It opened up a new door.”
Kane added that Jamie T “brought lots to the table” in their collaboration. Back in May, the pair performed ‘Too Little Too Late’ at an intimate London show.
Kane was performing at the 300-capacity Moth Club in Hackney when Treays joined him on guitar and vocals to play the Liverpool musician’s track.
