The electronic musician performed new album track on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers'
Jamie xx made an appearance on US late-night talk show Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday (June 15), performing his recent single ‘Loud Places’.
The electronic musician was joined by his fellow The xx bandmates Oliver Sim and Romy, plus Savages‘ Jehnny Beth, Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint, Caroline Polachek of Chairlift, plus others. Watch the performance below.
Jamie xx released his debut solo LP ‘In Colour’ earlier this month (June 1). The album charted at Number Three on the Official UK Album Chart.
The producer also recently previewed his upcoming contemporary ballet score, which was inspired by Jonathan Safran Foer’s book Tree of Codes. The score was commissioned by the Manchester International Festival and will be performed with the ballet at the Manchester Opera House in July. The ballet will feature alongside Björk and FKA Twigs on the programme at biennial arts festival, taking place in venues across Manchester between July 2-19.
Jamie xx will tour the UK in October following festival appearances during the summer. He plays the following live dates:
