Jane’s Addiction’s Dave Navarro ‘freaked out’ Marilyn Manson with blood in his bathroom

Be careful about inviting the Jane's Addiction man to your house...

Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has revealed that he used to take pleasure in ‘freaking out’ his friend Marilyn Manson by spraying his blood around his bathroom.

The terrible houseguest explained that he used to go to Manson‘s house and cover the bathroom mirror in blood from his used syringe. Nice.

Talking to Q magazine, Navarro said:

I don’t know if this is funny, but when I was using intravenous drugs, I used to go in his bathroom and spray his mirror with blood from my syringe. It freaked him out. He would get his assistant to put on rubber gloves and clean it up.

He continued:

Right after, I’d go and do it again just to push him. I thought it was funny to be able to freak out Marilyn Manson.

Navarro played guitar on Manson‘s 1998 album, ‘Mechanical Animals’.

Jane’s Addiction will be appearing at this weekend’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, headling the NME/Radio 1 Stage on Saturday August 27 at Reading and on Sunday August 28 at Leeds. They also play London KOKO on August 30.
