Perry Farrell releases 'Song Yet To Be Sung' in June...

JANE’S ADDICTION frontman PERRY FARRELL has announced details of his solo album, NME.COM can reveal.

Following Jane’s Addiction‘s triumphant reunion performance at Coachella Festival in California at the weekend, Farrell has revealed that his album, ‘Song Yet To Be Sung’, will be released through Virgin on June 18 in the UK and the following day in the US.

Song titles already confirmed include:

‘Say Something’



The album will feature Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins from Jane’s Addiction, as well as Porno For Pyros bassist Martyn LeNoble, plus Jon Brion, who has produced and worked with artists including Eels, David Byrne and Fiona Apple, and WAR keyboard player Lonnie Jordan.

The album was co-produced by Farrell, who shared duties with various producers, including Mad Professor, Brendan Hawkins, Krish Sharma and Marius DeVries.

Jane’s Addiction are understood to be planning to take a “travelling circus” type of show on the road with a reunion tour later this year.
