Janet Jackson UK tour postponed indefinitely

Unbreakable tour was due to begin in Birmingham later this month

Janet Jackson has postponed the UK leg of her ‘Unbreakable’ world tour.

The tour was due to begin later this month (March) but “scheduling difficulties” have been blamed for postponing the dates mere weeks before they were due to take place.

“It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders,” an email from Ticketmaster told those with tickets (via Digital Spy).

The UK tour was due to start in Birmingham on March 30 with gigs in Glasgow, Manchester and London following. All of these dates will not go ahead as planned. Further dates in Ireland, Germany and France have also been postponed.

Earlier this year Jackson revealed she had to undergo surgery on her vocal cords.

Jackson’s sugery came after she was forced to postpone a series of US tour dates in 2015.

Janet Jackson’s axed live dates:

Birmingham, Barclaycard Arena (March 30)
London, O2 Arena (March 31)
Glasgow, SSE Hydro (April 4)
Manchester, Arena (April 5)
