JANET JACKSON has cancelled her European tour this autumn in the wake of the terrorist attacks in NEW YORK and subsequent Government warnings to international travellers.
Jackson apologised to all of her European fans in a statement issued by her record company, Virgin: “I have agonised over this decision. Like most people, the events of September 11 have troubled me enormously and I remain concerned about the foreseeable future. If anything happened to anyone on this tour, I could never forgive myself.”
Jackson may consider a return to Europe next year, but for now all tickets purchased for concerts between November 2 and December 15 can be refunded at the point of purchase.
