Jarvis Cocker to play children’s hospital benefit

He's joined by an array of Manchester talent

Jarvis Cocker has confirmed a special charity show in Manchester.

The returning star will play the Royal Northern College Of Music on April 16, headlining the second John Lennon ‘Imagine’ Charity Fundraiser.

Support comes from an array of local talent including Badly Drawn Boy, I Am Kloot, Stephen Fretwell and Cherry Ghost.

The gigs are the brainchild of James Harrington, with the aim of raising money for the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, where his son Harry was successfully treated.

The scheme helps pay for the care of over 200,000 child patients a year. Go to Imagineappeal.com for more information.
