Plus View, Fatboy Slim and Editors get a coat of paint
Jarvis Cocker (pictured), Little Boots, The Kooks‘ Luke Pritchard, The View and Fatboy Slim are among the musicians who have painted themselves blue for a new photoshoot to raise awareness for Oxfam’s new climate change campaign.
The campaign is timed to line-up with the Glastonbury festival, which takes place next weekend (June 26-28).
They are asking fans to join in by painting themselves blue when they attend festivals this summer.
Video footage of the photoshoot will be shown on the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage between live acts over the weekend.
Little Boots said in a statement: “Doing nothing is not the answer to fighting climate change. Go blue, demand that the Prime Minister takes the lead in protecting the people of this beautiful planet and kiss goodbye to climate change. If everyone does their bit we can save the planet.”
