Album will be released in the US tomorrow (September 8)
Jay-Z has brought forward the US release date of his forthcoming new album ‘The Blueprint 3’ from September 11 to tomorrow (September 8) after it leaked online.
The original release date had been set so the album would be released in the US eight years to the day after his 2001 album ‘The Blueprint’.
However, following the recent leak, fans will be able to get hold of an official copy a few days early, reports Billboard.
The album is still scheduled to be released on September 14 in the UK.
Jay-Z had previously been nonchalant about ‘The Blueprint 3’ leaking, saying fans should “enjoy it” and that he saw the leak as a “preview”.
The rapper hit the top spot of the UK singles chart yesterday (September 6) with the album’s ‘Run This Town’, which features Rihanna and Kanye West.
