'The Blueprint' enjoys another week at the top - and Tori Amos scores a high new entry...

JAY-Z has held onto the top spot on the US BILLBOARD 200 album chart for a second week (week ending October 6).

The hiphop superstar’s ‘The Blueprint’ sold almost 271,000 copies in its second week, bringing total sales in the US to almost 700,000. The week’s highest new entry comes from Tori Amos, whose ‘Strange Little Girls’, featuring her reworking of tracks like Eminem‘s ”97 Bonnie & Clyde’ and Slayer‘s ‘Raining Blood’, went in at Four with sales of 111,000. Alicia Keys, meanwhile, remains strong, climbing back to Two with her ‘Songs In A Minor’, swapping places with Canadian rockers Nickelback’s ‘Silver Side Up’.

Several other strange new entries bulk up the Ten. Martina McBride’s ‘Greatest Hits’ go in at Five followed by Gerald Levert’s ‘Levert’s World’ at Six. Veteran Irish singer Enya

climbs the most places this week, moving from 19 to Seven with ‘A Day Without Rain’.

Meanwhile, the current UK Number One album seller Macy Gray

narrowly misses the Ten, debuting at 11 with new album ‘The Id’.
