The rock/rap crossover takes place at the ESPN Action Sport & Music Awards in LA...

Jay-Z is to be accompanied by members of Korn, Limp Bizkit and STATIC-X during a one-off show at the ESPN ACTION SPORTS & MUSIC AWARDS in the US on April 13.

Billed as ‘The Allstar Band’, the group will see Korn bassist Fieldy, Limp Bizkit drummer John Otto and Static-X guitarist Wayne Static take to the stage with the Jay-Z at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles for the ceremony.

The show will also feature performances by Unwritten Law, X-ecutioners featuring Xzibit, 3rd Strike and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, MTV reports. The Red Hot Chili Peppers will pick up two awards at the ceremony, including the Action Sports Artist Contribution Award.

The awards were set up last year to celebrate the connection between action and extreme sports and music. Awards will honour the year’s top competitors in 17 categories such as BMX, snowboarding, and skateboarding.
