‘BLUEPRINT’ FOR SUCCESS

Lo and behold, it's another 'Blueprint'. Really...

JAY-Z plans to return to the drawing board for his next album.

The new version of ‘The Blueprint’, ‘The Blueprint 2: The Gift and the Curse’ is out on April 7 and will feature the rapper’s favourite material from the 2002 version and previously unreleased tracks.

“My whole thing was to record a lot of music coming off ‘The Blueprint’… that was considered a classic as soon as soon it came out,” Jay-Z told billboard. “You know how people always compare an artist’s last album to their latest. I knew that was going to happen, so I wanted to make sure it was extra tight.”

The rapper has already said that he is ready to quit the music business, and told NME.COM that he plans to make his next album of new material, ‘The Black Album’, his last.

He admitted: “There comes a time when you’ve got to go and challenge yourself with other areas, you know what I’m saying? Take myself out of my comfort zone. Take the safety blanket off.”
