Couple also finally break their silence over the birth of Blue Ivy Carter
Jay-Z has posted a song online dedicated to his newly born baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
The track, which you can hear by scrolling down and clicking below, is entitled ‘Glory’ feat. B.I.C. (Blue Ivy Carter) and features the lyrics: The most amazing feeling I feel/ Words can’t describe what a feeling, for real/ Baby I’ll paint the sky blue/ My greatest creation was you.
The rapper and his wife Beyonce welcomed their daughter into the world at a hospital in New York on Saturday (January 7). They finally released an official statement this afternoon saying:
We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
The couple said the baby was delivered naturally and weighed seven pounds before adding: “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. It was the best experience of both of our lives. We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.”
There was initially some confusion over the baby’s name with early reports suggesting she was called Ivy Blue Carter
But Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow took to Twitter to set the record straight.
Meanwhile, a man was allegedly stopped from visiting his premature babies by Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s bodyguards in Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, over the weekend.
Beyonce had reportedly hired out and redecorated a wing at the hospital at the cost of $1.3 million (£843,000) in order to give birth to her first born child, Blue Ivy Carter, in peace, but her allegedly heavy-handed security guards apparently repeatedly stopped Neil Coulon from visiting his newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit.
