Jay Z’s new album ‘might be done’

Jermaine Dupri says he knows the name of rapper's new album

Hip-hop artist Jermaine Dupri has claimed that Jay-Z‘s follow-up to 2013’s ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’ “might be done” already.

In an interview with the Rap Radar podcast, the recording artist commented on his friendship with Jay Z, stating, “me and Jay have conversations that I’m sure he don’t have with nobody else.”

Dupri commented that when they met, “we sounded like two people who knew each other.”

It is this intimacy which has led to Dupri gaining inside information about the new Jay Z release. “I’ve spoken to Hov, even at the Beyonce concert,” Dupri said. “I know the name of Hov’s new album and everything right now.”

Dupri continued, “It might be done.” Wilson, who was not expecting the reveal, replied with shock: “whoa, that’s exclusive! Turn the mics off.”

Dupri added, “I don’t know what I’m saying. I’m just saying it might be done.”

Very few details are known about the new album so far, but reports suggest that Jay Z’s new album may be a collaboration with Beyonce.

Earlier this month it was revealed that Jay Z and Beyonce are the highest paid celebrity couple in the world, with a combined income of $107.5 million.
