An unreleased track by Jay-Z has appeared online.
‘The Black Gangster’ was unearthed by American hip hop DJ, DJ Absolut. As reported by XXL, a version of ‘The Black Gangster’ originally appeared on a 1997 Roc-A-Fella promotional tape released prior to Jay Z’s second album ‘In My Lifetime, Vol. 1.’
The track is also known as ‘This Life Forever’ and was featured on the 1999 ‘Black Gangster’ soundtrack and Jay Z’s 2003 mixtape ‘S. Carter Collection.’

Earlier this month, DJ Tim Westwood revealed an unreleased freestyle by Jay-Z as part of his Throwback Thursday series.
As reported by rap-up, the track was recorded in 1999, around the time of his fourth album ‘Vol. 3…Life and Times of S. Carter.’

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran recently revealed details of his new album, explaining that Jay Z had called him an “alien” after he heard a song from it.
