Kanye West and Jay Z to co-produce new Chris Rock film ‘Top Five’

Questlove of The Roots acts as executive music producer on forthcoming comedy title

Kanye West and Jay-Z will act as exectiive producers on Chris Rock’s new film Top Five, according to reports.

West and Jay Z co-produced the film, which features Rock as fictional comedian Andre Allen, with Questlove of The Roots acting as executive music producer according to Deadline.

The comedy film also stars Rosario Dawson, Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Cedric The Entertainer, J.B. Smoove, Sherri Shepherd, Anders Holm, and Jay Pharoah with Paramount purchasing its distribution rights after the film impressed at this week’s Toronto International Film Festival.

Meanwhile, Kanye West was hospitalised in Australia yesterday afternoon (September 10), according to reports.

New stories suggest that the rapper was admitted to a Melbourne hospital yesterday, with others claiming that he was stretchered in to the facility and was given an MRI scan. Sources say that West was suffering from a migraine. He was released from the hospital the same evening in time to play his show at the Rod Laver Arena.
